Domani e la prima giorno

Well my title is in Italian and it means, today is the first day. I've been trying to really make an effort to appreciate every day and to not be discouraged by one bad day. Somedays it's more difficult than others but such is life I suppose. I feel like I have a lot on my plate right now and while I think I'm doing pretty well at managing everything, sometimes I doubt myself and my resolve to become the person I want to be. Who that is exactly....I'm not entirely sure. I know a lot of qualities I want to always possess but I can't quite figure out my career path. College has been amazing for so many reasons but it has also succeeded in confusing me to the point that my mind feels all tangled up and the things I once knew as absolute are no longer, and many new things have been thrown into the mix.
This Tuesday is my sister Emma's 10th birthday! Hoooly cow time flys! I can't believe she is going to be 10 and my other sister Cameron is 8. They are both amazing little people and I feel so incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity over the past 4 years to spend time with them almost daily.
Thursday is Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday. I love that there are no presents involved because in my mind, presents = pressure, pressure = taking your mind off the reasons we are celebrating today, and then you can eat anything you want while, hopefully, surrounded by family and friends.
I am thankful for my family. Thankful for my true friends. Thankful for my animals. Thankful for college. Thankful for amazing books. Thankful for cute and warm sweaters. Thankful for all the love in my life. Hope you have a delicious Thanksgiving.
